80 Swans a-Swimming

Mild windy weather increasingly overcast pre-storm.

Most of the bird life of Watchemoket Cove was over closer to the bike trail than to the road - maybe more shelter from the wind there.

• 2 black backed gulls
• 14 buffleheads
• 22 canvasbacks
• 80 swans a-swimming
• 87 Canada geese

Once the rain finally came it was a doozy. The heavens opened up just as we arrived at La Madre's house to decorate the tree. By the time we were done the rain had slowed up a little to a regular deluge type thing. Driving home was a bit dicey but we made it safely.
