The snow is melting rapidly. It sounds like we're living inside a babbling brook. Water water everywhere. In know I wrote that yesterday.
Red Sox won their opener at Anaheim Wednesday night and lost last night in a close one. They are in Seattle tonight.
With all the hassle and snow around here and it being past my old age induced bedtime I've only caught like one inning so far.
Elizabeth is going to a sleep over birthday party tonight and I need to find a present for the birthday girl. Beanie babies are in short supply. The kid is into horses, so there are other possibilities.
No beanie babies within a 40 mile radius. Except sharks No I didn't drive to the Burlington mall, one of the Starbucks regulars, mother of a 6 1/2 year old, gave me a recon report from there. . So I got a horse watercolor set and horse rubber stamps. Went over budget a tad because I figured you have to include a stamp pad with the stamps. $21 should cover it. I started a new Rail Pass at Learning Express.
I have a whole beanie scouting network...
I have a deep sense of satisfaction with this mission. All 9 year old girls go through a horse phase. Of course, I never went through the horse phase. I think that was my first clue that I might be queer. Gee, I knew that before I knew girls couldn't grow up to play third base in the major leagues? Hmmm....
Off to Groton for quality aunting time.
