ecoterrorism

So now that I've been begging you to help Paul Watson for three weeks without realizing the link didn't work, maybe I'd better explain. Or not. Still can't figure out why the link didn't work. Very confused I am.

so who is he?

Paul Watson is an environmental activist, one of the original co-founders of Greenpeace, who left Greenpeace to found the Sea Shepherd Society. He pioneered direct action in defense of the environment. At the moment, he is in jail in the Netherlands awaiting extradition to Norway where he was convicted in absentia of scuttling an illegal whaling ship and ramming a Norwegian naval ship. Yes, in absentia, he was not present for the trial. Yes, Norway purports to be a modern western democracy.

so what?

So make up your own mind. Now that the links at the bottom of my journal entries and the journal index work (at least when I try them), click away, read, and form your own opinion.

cats

yesterday

Meanwhile, the stray cat story ran on Channel 7 last night. Jaguar's face flashed for a millisecond. Mainly the story focused on the rabies danger. The interview with Stacey ran about a minute. Rabies experts got more time. Ummm, get your cat its rabies shots, please! And spay/neuter it unless you're running a cattery.

today

I speed cleaned this morning in an effort to get a reasonable amount of work done before I had to come home and wait for the door replacers.

Slinky was being obnoxious. Spunky entered Jaguar's cage with intent to spray but I stopped him. There's a beautiful orange and white long hair named Spencer who keeps talking to me in that same series of chirps and meows that Wilbur uses. Spencer is adorable but Wilbur needs a one cat household.

computers

the not work

World seems to be back on the net. I uploaded the past two days' journal entries, downloaded all of December's entries so I could spell check them and then uploaded the spell corrected ones again.

the lifeless life list

As for the Audubon CD, I haven't tried to re-enter the life list again. I'm leaning towards getting a nice fancy notebook for the purpose instead. My trust has been violated.
