terns here too
We spotted a pair or common terns flying over
the cove this afternoon. These are the first terns here this
year. Unlike the flock at Plum Island, this was just a lone
pair - maybe they're on their honeymoon and wanted privacy?

After the ritual visit to the cove, we headed
to Crescent Park to ride the Looff Carousel. Some little kid
was having a birthday party there so there were tons of kids
carrying brightly colored packages swarming around. Carousel
music and the sun sparkling off the bay are enough to raise
anyone's spirits.
