parallel run start stop catching bugs in the wrack crossing their footprints in the sand when I left shadow of a black backed gull passing overhead disappearing into the sand when they sit down so close I could watch without binoculars - one ran right in front of me cold in the wind ocean stretching so far I can understand why people used to think you could fall off the edge of the earth - it's counterintuitive to think otherwise deep blue I can't believe they're this close to me! |
