I took my brand new Sony Mavica MVC-FD73 for a walk on the East Bay Bike Path this afternoon. We (me, Nancy and the camera) stopped off at Watchemocket Cove briefly and encountered plenty of mallards and the usual mute swans. It was too early for the egrets to come to roost so the variety of bird life was a little tame.

Instead of walking our usual route along the East Providence section of the bike path, we drove into Barrington and walked to Warren.

The variety of scenery was stunning: flowers, trees, shade, sun, water.

White.

Yellow.

Red.

Fish "prohibite" on one side of the navigation channel. Both of the bridges had loads of people fishing from them, but they were mainly catching sea lettuce in huge green sheets.

On the other side, the fish bite but the lice take notice. Only one boat went under the bridge while we were walking. Nobody caught a boat on his line.

Pink.

We got off the bike path in Warren and walked to the Warren Antiques Center so we could get a cold beverage and a sandwich at our favorite cafe, The Center Cafe (creative name, eh?). I had iced coffee and two bottles of water. Nancy had a chicken salad sandwich.
