Walked with the walking buddies. Went to see the former Auntmobile. Film at 11:00. I finally got to see the car now that the police are done with it. The insurance adjuster hasn't been there yet but the guys at the towing lot let me get what's left of my stuff out of the car. The exterior doesn't look too bad except for there being no tires. The interior is all torn up with wires hanging everywhere. The airbags are gone, radio gone (complete with antenna), other parts gone. As for my stuff, there is no rhyme nor reason to what they left and what they took. Guess I'll finally get one of those pocket sized digital ones that works in Groton. I have no idea whether the car is totaled or not. It looks bad, but on the other hand, my brand new radiator is still in it. Small favors I guess. The universe is obviously trying to communicate a message to me but I am not getting it. |
