There really are an awful lot of black cats lately. It's not like they all come from the same place or anything. Just coincidence, I guess. I don't have a whole lot else to write about. I think I'm pretty much over the cold from hell except for totally running out of energy at about 3:00 in the afternoon. There is just way too much stuff to get done on too many projects before I go away for 19 days. But it will all either be done or not done and I'll deal with it when I come back. Somebody today asked me if I was packing lots of sunscreen - the hole in the ozone layer and all. I hadn't really thought that much about it, but it is true that the days are long in the austral summer and that means plenty of sun to burn my pale Irish skin - or at least what skin isn't covered with layers of Polartec. Better add another bottle of sunscreen. |
